if the more recent disclosure that Western oil companies have been awarded no-bid short term contracts to Iraqi oil (giving them tremendous advantage for long term bids) wasn’t enough another slap in the American people’s face…
then
shouldn’t this recent back-room table deal benefiting Hunt Oil, a firm loyal to Bush that bypassed the White Houses already shady back-room no bid deals the final push for action? This is the big payout at the end of the Bush presidency. The curtain is closing, the deals are inked, and the wealthy few are smiling. This war’s true ‘Mission Accomplished’ banner is now officially being waved and it’s not a mission that is really helping the vast majority of us.
