From the Star Press, Republican Party chairman Kaye Whitehead states “she [is] concerned early voting on campus would encourage uninformed students to cast ballots.” BSU Cardinals, are you really uninformed youth? I think not! This is clearly a fear of the youth/college vote that is traditionally in Obama’s court.
Voting is supposed to be easy. Nowhere is there a voting requirement stating we should meet somebodies biased expectation as to awareness of an election. Sure we want informed voters. But informed or not, that should not prevent someone from enacting their right as U.S. citizens.
