Obama’s wise words to McCain – A president needs to be able to multi-task

Smart move keeping the pressure up to hold these debates.  The American people, the whole system needs these debates.  Now, we have word that the McCain camp wants to push back the Biden-Palin v.p. debates. Sounds like desperation to me too.  Glad to see Obama acting like the leader he is.

Hey Ball State, Republican Kaye Whitehead says your too stupid to vote!

From the Star Press, Republican Party chairman Kaye Whitehead states “she [is] concerned early voting on campus would encourage uninformed students to cast ballots.”  BSU Cardinals, are you really uninformed youth?  I think not!  This is clearly a fear of the youth/college vote that is traditionally in Obama’s court.
Voting is supposed to be easy.  Nowhere [...]

Reminder to Obama – it must always be opposite day with Karl Rove. Attack Palin.

No thanks Karl, Barack does not need your unsolicited advice.  Taking on Palin directly is a ”a match-up he’ll lose”, Rove claims.  Rove is as partisan as it comes.  He’s been a phenomanal asset to the GOP.  But he’s just that. 100% GOP, despite any objectivity he claims.  It’s a rather simple strategy.  If you are not [...]

Sean Hannity has a melt-down and gets called out on the economy

I liked watching this guy hold his own against the ignorance and arrogance that is Sean Hannity.

Cool Obama art and some off the cuff reaction

From MoveOn.org, here are some of my favorite entries from their online gallery Manifest Hope (hover over the images for their titles).  These entries (and Move On’s selection for that matter) are worthy of some analysis.  Blogging is to instantaneous for deep, thorough analysis, so how about something off the top of my head?
How is [...]

Obama on the RNC – two nights of John McCain’s biography and no concrete ideas

This guy is just awesome.  Love the response to relentless RNC attacks,  ”I’ve been called worse on the basketball court.  It’s no big deal.”

Video of Barack’s Acceptance Speech at the DNC

August 28, 2008

watching the DNC tonight was kind of weird…

The convention gets a great Biden speech, a surprise Obama cameo, the entire Biden clan on the stage hugging to ‘We are family’, then a benediction.  I understand why, but it looked forced to get the crowd to instantly shift to solemn prayer.  Maybe it was the fact that, during all of this, Michelle was [...]

No. No. No. Obama assassination plot broken up at DNC? (updated)

From The Hill:
According to a report by KUSA-TV, at least four people are under arrest in connection with a plot to kill Obama during his speech Thursday night at Invesco Field. The television station cited law enforcement sources as saying one of the suspects said the group planned to come to Denver to kill Obama.

Rasmussen poll – McCain holds slight lead over Obama in Indiana

Indiana, one of the nation’s newest purple state, slightly favors McCain in a recent Rasmussen poll.  Polled Aug. 19-21st, Hoosiers give McCain a 4% edge, ‘without leaners’ and curiously think that W. has performed better than fair in the White House.
How do you rate the way that George W. Bush is performing his role as President? Excellent, [...]
